Today, Sunday, 4 October 2026, a hifz supplication ceremony for the new hafiza, Semire Zulqufli Seferi, was held at the Upper Mosque in Reçicë e Madhe in a festive and spiritual atmosphere.

Hfz. Semire Zulqufli Seferi was born on 8 October 2004 in Reçicë e Madhe, in the Municipality of Tetova. She began memorising the Noble Qur’an on 19 June 2022 with her memorisation teacher, Abdurahman ef. Asllani, and completed this journey on 4 September 2026 at the “Molla Mahmud ef. Asllani” Hifz Centre.

She successfully completed her hifz examinations on 7, 11 and 14 September 2026 before the Hifz Commission at the Muftiny of Tetova, comprising:

The ceremony was honoured by the presence of the Reisul Ulema of BFI, H. Hfz. Shaqir ef. Fetai; the Mufti of Tetova, Dr. Hfz. Selver Xhemaili, with colleagues; the coordinator of Isa Beu Madrasa in Tetova, Dr. Beqir ef. Memeti; the director of the Hifz Institute in Sarajevo, Dr. Xhemal Muslih; representatives of BFI institutions, professors, religious teachers, family, friends and many other guests.

At the start of the programme, the chair of the Hifz Commission, Hfz. Ibrahim Alija, outlined the examinations and the new hafiza’s excellent results. The mosque’s imam, Emin ef. Mahmudi, then welcomed the guests. In his address, the Mufti of Tetova, Dr. Hfz. Selver Xhemaili, congratulated the hafiza, the Seferi family and her teacher, praising their years of effort, discipline and dedication.

The keynote address was delivered by the Reisul Ulema of BFI, H. Hfz. Shaqir ef. Fetai, who spoke about the immeasurable value of learning the Word of Allah, describing carrying the Qur’an in one’s heart as an honour, a trust and a light for society.

The hifz supplication was recited by Hfz. Xheladin ef. Jusufi, and the programme was moderated by the Muftiny’s secretary, Semir ef. Fazliji.

In recognition of her achievement, the new hafiza received a hifz certificate from the Muftiny of Tetova, to be converted into an official diploma at the central ceremony organised by the Rijaset of BFI. Certificates of appreciation and gifts were also presented to her and her teacher, Abdurahman ef. Asllani, in gratitude for their work and care.

The Muftiny of Tetova warmly congratulates Hfz. Semire Zulqufli Seferi, her family and her teacher, Abdurahman ef. Asllani, praying that Almighty Allah makes the Holy Qur’an her lifelong guide and intercessor on the Day of Judgement.
